Easy 5 Ingredient Apple Crisp
Create a simple dessert anytime with this 5 ingredient dessert
- 2 apples peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
- ¾ C oats
- 3 TB butter cold
- 2 TB maple syrup
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- Plain or Vanilla Skyr Yogurt optional
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Lightly grease a pie pan or 4 ramekins.
Place sliced apples in pie pan/ramekins
In a separate bowl, cut butter into oats using a pastry blender until butter is size of a pea. Stir in maple syrup and cinnamon. Place topping on apples.
Bake 20 minutes until topping is browned. Enjoy warm.
Optional to place a dollop of plain or vanilla skyr yogurt on top.
Prepare full recipe, including baking the crisp, 1-2 days before event. When ready to enjoy, reheat in 350ºF oven for 10-15 minutes until desired temperature
